Stellar Hut

The Stellar Hut is a cabin for skiers in the Tatshenshini-Alsek Park. It is 110 km from Haines Junction and a 500 m ski from the parking area on the Haines Highway. The hut has wood heat, propane lights, propane stove, cooking utensils, and room for 8 people to sleep. There is no running water. You will need to bring a sleeping bag and thermarest, food and your snow gear. Cost is $25 per person per night.

There are trails for skiing or snowshoeing right from the hut. The Haines Pass ski areas are another 20 minute drive south on the highway. Give us a call, or email, if you want current conditions and to book space at the Stellar Hut.
